If you are committed and collaborative professional looking to contribute to a hard-working, innovative team, this opportunity is for you.

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our team in Bathurst, New Brunswick. Working in a fast-paced industrial environment, the successful candidate will support the assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment, both within our shop environment and at customer sites. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, a strong commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a skilled team.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Test, repair, and assemble electrical equipment and related components in accordance with specifications
  • Read and interpret electrical AC and DC schematics
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical equipment at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools
  • Electrical point to points, labeling on all associated wiring including wiring integrity
  • Redline and mark up drawings as required
  • Be familiar with industry specific codes and Standards (CEC, IEEE, NETA)
  • Ability to work effectively in both indoor and outdoor work environments
  • Carry out such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
  • Environmental requirements will range from frequent to occasional lifting, carrying, bending and reaching
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and use PPE as required
  • Complete required documentation and service reports accurately

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Licensed Electrician, Registered Electrical Apprentice (Construction and/or Industrial), or Electrical Technologist
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant electrical experience will be considered

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a panel shop, control panel assembly, or industrial/commercial electrical environment

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to read electrical drawings
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and proactively with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality
  • Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Organization and time management
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the Atlantic Region when required
  • Valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver's License
  • Security clearance
