Job description


What you will be doing:

  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with established Company standards, policies and legislative requirements,

  • You will be part of a team that will strive to optimize performance including chemical recovery, chemical wood pulping and environmental controls,

  • Develop process improvements that lead to cost reductions and improved efficiency.


What you must have:

  • Candidates must have a degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with process and control experience.

  • Candidates must have at least 2 years of process experience in an industrial facility, experience in a pulp and paper facility or Forest Products industry experience is preferred.

  • Excellent communicator with all levels of the organization. Insightful, self-aware, and able to listen to employees and integrate feedback into the operations.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced and structured environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, prioritizing and organizational skills.

  • Candidates must have strong computer skills including experience with MS Office and Outlook.

  • Candidates must be able to legally work within Canada at the time of applying for the position.


Salary/Rate Range: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00
