To meet our growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking a Senior Substation Physical Design Engineer to join our National Power Delivery Team, located inone of our offices in Alberta . We are also open to candidates based out of our offices in Saskatchewan or British Columbia.

In this role, you’ll take on challenging and impactful projects, leading the electrical design of electric substations for medium and high-voltage utility systems and renewable energy interconnections. You’ll apply industry codes and standards to create innovative, reliable solutions—producing physical layouts, plan and elevation views, grounding, conduit and cable trough plans, and detailed construction documents. From equipment specifications to bills of materials, your work will set the foundation for safe and efficient energy systems. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure milestones are met and expectations exceeded. At WSP, you’ll be part of a dynamic, highly experienced team committed to delivering exceptional engineering services and shaping a sustainable energy future.

Compensation :
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU : $114,600 – $151,800
MB & ON : $104,500 – $143,900
Atlantic Provinces & QC : $103,500 – $137,400
