Job description
A large global accounting firm in Trail, BC, is seeking an exceptional Administrative Assistant to support their downtown office for a 3-month assignment. We are looking for a highly skilled administrator who is ready to start as soon as possible.

Location: Downtown Trail, BC
Opportunity: Temporary, Full-Time Hours
Duration: Mid-February to the First Week of May
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23/hour

Responsibilities
• Accepting deliverables from clients - making sure appropriate paper work is signed and completed
• Reception and front of office work
• Checking T1 Software for status changes
• Correlating tax returns, saving as .pdf/printing (situational)
• Changing status and adding detailed notes as required
• Compiling Client package tax return for DocuSign & SFT (Secure File Transfer)
• Preparation of letters and reports using firm templates in compliance with Firm standards (billing)
• Proof-read, review for quality and verify content before finalizing any client deliverables
• Preparing hard files for clients based on requests from the external client service team
• Photocopying & binding, scanning documents
• Assisting with mail delivery, and other office distribution duties
• Assisting with faxing, filing, typing and other office duties as required
• Assisting Office Manager and Administrative Team with various ad hoc duties
• Electronic file and database management

Qualifications
• Completion of a recognized administration/office program
• Previous administrative support experience is essential
• Working in a professional services environment would be a valuable asset
• Proficiency with MS Office 2007 or 2010 applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience in client service
• Takes initiative, takes direction and works well independently
• Keen attention to detail, efficient and accurate; and well-organized
• Willingness to learn new skills and new technology
