Job description
Randstad is currently recruiting for a full-time, on-site Order Entry Specialist for our client in St. Thomas to join a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility. In this vital role, you will serve as the essential link between major North American automotive/trucking OEM buyers, inventory teams, and shop floor production to ensure flawless, just-in-time (JIT) delivery.

If you are an experienced Order Entry or Order Desk Representative with automotive or industrial manufacturing, this would be a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities
- Input and maintain high-volume customer release schedules and spot purchase orders into Epicor ERP
- Monitor, review, and reconcile continuous electronic scheduling changes from major North American automotive and trucking OEMs
- Verify part numbers, engineering revision levels, specialized pricing, and strict shipping instructions against master contracts
- Cross-reference order volumes with finished goods inventory and production capacity to ensure strict delivery windows are met
- Partner with Account Managers, Quality, and Engineering teams to quickly resolve missing codes or specification conflicts
- Ensure Epicor entries accurately match required packing slips, bills of lading, and unique compliance labels

Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience using Epicor ERP for order entry or material management
2+ years of administrative or data entry experience within automotive, trucking, or heavy industrial manufacturing
Strong familiarity with high-volume OEM release processes, strict delivery timelines, and complex part/revision numbering frameworks in an asset
Proven precision to help prevent mis-shipments, assembly line shutdowns, or compliance penalties
Excellent written and verbal communication to seamlessly liaise between shop floor schedulers and corporate customer portals
Comfortable working in a fast-paced plant environment driven by strict OEM deadlines
