Job description

We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a busy manufacturing operation in St. Thomas. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical, mechanical, automation, and troubleshooting skills. Experience with stamping, robotics, assembly, or automotive manufacturing is a strong asset.

Location: St. Thomas, ON
Pay Rate: $30.14–$40.00+/hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment
Troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, and automated systems
Diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
Read electrical schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs
Support equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Previous industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and automation
Robotics, stamping, assembly, or automotive experience is an asset
442A Industrial Electrician license is a strong asset
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
