We're working on a hands-on Controller opportunity with a well-established and growing organization in the distribution/e-commerce space. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this role offers strong visibility across the business and the opportunity to act as a true business partner while leading a high-performing accounting function.

This individual will own the month-end and year-end close process, consolidated financial reporting, budgeting support, audit, treasury, internal controls, and compliance, while partnering closely with senior leadership on financial insights and process improvements. The role will also play a key part in systems enhancements and ERP transition initiatives, making it an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes and driving efficiencies.

This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys being in the details while also mentoring a team and contributing strategically to the business.

Requirements:
• CPA designation
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager capacity
• Strong experience with consolidated reporting and multi-entity accounting (including intercompany)
• Experience owning month-end close, financial reporting, audit, budgeting/forecasting support, and internal controls
• Exposure to ERP implementations or major systems upgrades (NetSuite/Sage experience an asset)
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally

Preferred:
• Experience within distribution, wholesale, retail, or inventory-heavy environments
• Exposure to lender reporting, treasury, payroll oversight, and finance systems projects

Location: Thorold, ON (5 days/week in office)
Compensation: $125K–$150K
