Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC) in Nova Scotia, delivering deep technical and industry expertise to public and private sector clients worldwide. You’ll also act as a SAP FI / CO consultant, responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP FI / CO modules to optimize financial processes, analyzing existing systems, recommending solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing solutions, customizing configurations, and conducting testing.
Must be located on-site at IBM office in Bedford, Nova Scotia.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Experience working in financial accounting, management accounting and / or financial performance management
- Strong leadership qualifications and experience
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; confident and credible working with VP level clients (senior positions)
- Manage and lead the on-site and off-site Finance Support Teams
- Provide status updates on operational activities, incidents, service requests and minor enhancements
- Monitor and manage team activities and provide action plans
- Perform problem management tasks and communicate escalation procedures
- Create a sense of community among peers
- Understand the existing skill set versus the client's requirements and develop a training strategy
- Assist team members with highly complex and diversified issues
- Harvest reusable assets
- Contribute to incremental revenue by identifying additional opportunities and assisting in proposal development
