Dishwasher Jobs in Abbotsford, BC

Our twin boy and girl started kindergarten this September and we are in search of a mature individual that is available to care for them over the summer starting in the first week of July until second week of September . The job entails that you provide complete care for the children at our home until we return home from work. We are not interested in having an individual that also wants to bring their children.

The ideal candidate must be physically capable of caring for two young kids. It is important to us that the experienced individual is easy-going and a loving, nurturing and educational role model for our children as they grow!

About Us : My husband and I are two working professionals in our early 40’s that both work in Abbotsford and are team-oriented individuals that look forward to working with you! Our jobs are demanding and your punctuality / reliability reflects our ability to do our jobs. We have a large house on a large lot that is in a safe and walk-able area.

The days : Arrive each day at 8 : 15am - 8 : 30am (they will be fed breakfast) then prepare a AM snack, lunch and PM snack during the day. It is important to us that you are a tidy person by nature and of course tidy up after the kids and make an effort to keep our home clean during the days. We do not require housekeeping in addition to childcare but we expect loading / unloading of the dishwasher or sweeping as part of daily maintenance in just tidying up as part of the job.

We reside in one of Abbotsford’s most sought-after neighbourhoods - a closed-loop street and traffic is minimal. You are within walking distance to many parks and fields to spend time with the kids.

General Information :

Start Date : End of June or early July

Days / Hours : Monday to Friday / Start 8 : 30 / Finish : 4 : 30 (~3...hours a week)

Rate of pay : Approx. $25 / hr

Ideal Education and Experience :

• High school graduate
• Some training or equivalent experience in child care and development
• Proven childcare experience with references.
• First Aid and CPR certification a big asset (child specific)
• Driving license and safe driving record.
