Responsibilities :
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort and privacy.
- Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images and utilize appropriate techniques for each examination.
- Operate ultrasound equipment effectively, selecting appropriate transducers and settings for different examinations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality control standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Perform routine equipment checks, maintain equipment cleanliness, and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
