Imagine stepping into a role where your work turns complex data into clarity that leaders can use to make decisions.
Here, you are not just building reports, you are helping shape how the business understands itself. You work closely with stakeholders to take messy, complex datasets and turn them into meaningful insights that drive strategy, improve performance, and support better decisions across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone with experience as a Data Analyst, Senior BI Analyst, Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, BI Developer, or Analytics Developer, with strong hands-on skills in Python, SQL, and Power BI.
You are naturally analytical, resourceful, and comfortable working in ambiguity. You enjoy solving problems without clear instructions and can work independently while staying connected to the bigger business picture. You don’t just analyze data you understand what the business is trying to achieve and translate information into something actionable.
You are also energized by innovation and emerging technologies, including AI and modern analytics tools, and you are always looking for better, smarter ways to solve problems. Most importantly, you know that insights only matter when they are understood and used so you focus on clear, simple, and impactful storytelling.
If this sounds like the kind of work you want to do, we would love to hear from you. Apply today and bring your expertise in data, analytics, and storytelling to a role where your insights will directly influence decisions, shape strategy, and help the organization see the business more clearly.
We offer an attractive compensation and benefits package. Our workplace culture values health and wellness, diversity and equality, continuing education, environmental sustainability and giving back to the community.
This role is currently working hybrid from home and from our head office in Burnaby, BC. Apply this week if you would like to take on this role.
Key Ways This Position Makes An Impact
In this role, you sit at the center of decision making, where data, business understanding, and strategy all come together.
You start with large, complex datasets and bring structure to them using Python and SQL cleaning, transforming, and exploring the data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities that are not immediately visible.
From there, your work shifts from technical analysis to meaning. You translate complex findings into clear, business friendly insights, turning analysis into dashboards, reports, and narratives that help leaders quickly understand what is happening and what actions are needed.
At the same time, you play a key role in strengthening how data is used across the organization. Working with databases, Business Intelligence (Power BI) tools, and data integration systems, you help ensure information is reliable, consistent, and easy to access so teams can trust and rely on it.
Over time, your contributions help mature the organization’s analytics capability, reducing reliance on ad hoc reporting and enabling more standardized, scalable, and trusted insights that support better decision-making.
You also help move the organization forward by supporting predictive thinking and engaging with AI-enabled and modern analytics tools, helping leaders shift from reactive decisions to more proactive, forward-looking planning.
Ultimately, your work makes a simple but powerful difference: leaders see the business more clearly, understand it more deeply, and make better decisions with confidence, backed by trusted data.
Key Experiences You Bring To This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of related experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, and/or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency with modern business intelligence tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, and/or Looker for data visualization.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into meaningful recommendations.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with capacity to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
