80,700 - 98,700

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps to join our team at the Intact Data Lab, one of the largest data science labs in the country. Within our data engineering team, you will play a strategic role in evolving and optimizing our Data & AI infrastructure, both in the cloud and on-premises. You will be a key contributor to accelerating our technological transformation and driving continuous improvement of our DevOps practices.

As a DevOps , you will work closely with data engineering teams and data scientists to design and deploy robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure. You will be responsible for process automation, performance optimization, and the proactive management of monitoring, security, and reliability across our Data & AI platforms. Your technical leadership will ensure smooth operations and the adoption of DevOps best practices across the department.

What you'll do here:

  • Manage our Data & AI platform deployed on AWS and on-premises.

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to ensure consistency and automation across environments.

  • Set up observability systems and define KPIs for our platforms and services.

  • Embed security best practices at every stage of the development lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable and secure solutions.

  • Provide operational support and resolve technical incidents.

  • Participate in proofs of concept and the evaluation of new technologies.

  • Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

What you bring to the table:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • A minimum of 3 years of DevOps experience in AWS cloud environments.

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience in provisioning, configuring, and managing AWS services such as S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, AWS Backup, SageMaker, SQS, and SNS.

  • Experience with Databricks and Snowflake platforms.

  • Hands-on expertise with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

  • Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.

  • Proficiency in Python.

  • Good networking skills, including VPCs, load balancers, and firewalls.
