Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and maintenance support, is seeking a motivated College or University Student looking for summer work to join their team. As a College or University Student looking for summer work, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational efficiency and process improvements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: College or University Student looking for summer work

Location: Brockville, ON and Prescott, ON

Pay Range: 21/ hour

Shift: Full-time, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

What's the Job?

• Organize and manage the maintenance request system to ensure timely processing and resolution
• Improve documentation and processes related to preventative maintenance systems
• Track and organize site maintenance improvement tasks and inspections
• Perform basic in-factory hands-on tasks such as cleaning eye wash stations, housekeeping, and assisting maintenance team members
• Support team efforts in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, for data management and reporting
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Previous experience working within a team environment
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and report on progress
• Mechanical aptitude or experience in manufacturing is an asset
• Ability to clear a back ground check
