Job Title: General Labour / Confined Space Monitor

Location: Prescott, Ontario (On‑site)

Salary: $20.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay

Our client, located in Prescott, requires General Labourers help in September for a short-term contract assisting with a plant shutdown, the job is approximately 20 mins from Brockville, just past Prescott in Johnstown at the Greenfield Ethanol Plant.

What you'll do

• Maintaining continuous, direct communication with entrants from outside the confined space
• Monitoring safety hazards
• Maintaining an accurate, real-time count of workers
• Controlling entry, and initiating emergency procedures if necessary as outlined in training

• Ability to walk, stand and observe for extended periods
• Ability to read and write recording information on a sheet of paper with attention to detail
• Excellent work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
• CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots

• Paid training is September 16th or 17th or 18th – you pick!
• Training time is 8am start (6-8hours)
• After attending training, you then work either day shift or night shift on September 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, – you pick!Shift option 1: 6am – 6pmShift option 2: 6pm – 6am
