Our client, located in Prescott, requires General Labour help in April for a short-term contract assisting with a plant shutdown, the job is approximately 20mins from Brockville, just past Prescott in Johnstown.What We Offer:

• Pay rate: $20.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
• 1 day paid training, Drake International will pay for your certification to be a Confined Space Monitor – you can then add the new certification to your resume!
• Training is April 8, 9 ,10 – you pick!
• Training time is 8am - 4pm
• You work either day shift or night shift on April 13, 14, 15 – you pick!Shift option 1: 6am - 6pmShift option 2: 6pm - 6am

What you are doing:

• Maintaining continuous, direct communication with entrants from outside the confined space
• Monitoring safety hazards
• Maintaining an accurate, real-time count of workers
• Controlling entry, and initiating emergency procedures if necessary as outlined in training

What you need:

• Reliability is a must! Your team is counting on you to show up!
• Ability to walk, stand and observe for extended periods
• Ability to read and write recording information on a sheet of paper with attention to detail
• Excellent work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
• CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots
