We are currently building a talent pipeline for an upcoming Production Coordinator / Scheduler position with a leading manufacturer of sustainable, high-efficiency structural and agricultural growing solutions based in Vineland Station, Ontario.

In this critical role, you will act as the operational anchor connecting manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and shipping to ensure production runs smoothly, predictably, and on pace for global customers. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts and enjoy owning metrics and visual management systems, this position is the perfect launchpad for your next career move.

Advantages
Hourly Wage: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
Shift Structure: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Coordination: Seamlessly align production, procurement, engineering, and shipping activities while dynamically assigning labor based on team priorities and capacity.
Workflow Optimization: Proactively monitor real-time production progress and resolve tracking bottlenecks or operational risks before they cause delays.
Pre-Production Readiness: Ensure all required raw materials, specialized tools, manufacturing fixtures, and equipment are fully prepared and staged before shop floor work begins.
Visual Management: Keep shop floor visual tracking systems accurate and meaningful at all times, maintaining production metrics, KPIs, and tracking whiteboards.
Daily Briefings: Lead daily production meetings to actively review workflow readiness, shop safety protocols, and shift performance metrics to keep schedules on track.
Continuous Improvement: Perform daily quality and safety checks, identifying proactive opportunities to optimize setup workflows and production efficiency.

Qualifications
Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent professional background.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience coordinating production schedules, manufacturing setups, materials, and labor logistics (equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience are welcomed).
Technical Assets: Prior hands-on experience navigating ERP/MRP systems and high comfort level managing performance dashboards, metrics, and visual tracking tools.
Core Competencies: A proactive mindset, exceptional multitasking capabilities, and prompt, clear written and verbal communication skills. Teamwork: Strong practical problem-solving capabilities with a natural ability to collaborate effectively across diverse internal manufacturing teams.
On-the-Floor Presence: Comfort standing and walking for extended periods on the manufacturing production floor.
Material Handling:
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
Digital Proficiency: Comfortable utilizing computer screens, keyboards, and handheld tracking devices for data entry.
Auditory & Sensory: Ability to communicate, hear, and operate safely within a low-to-moderate volume shop environment
