About the Client
Our client is sourcing a Corporate Actuary to join their team.
About the Opportunity
- Lead and support high-impact actuarial initiatives, including IFRS 17 implementation and refinement of assumption-setting methodologies through experience studies
Contribute to the design of actuarial models
Execute and oversee actuarial valuations under IFRS 17, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting
Perform detailed product analysis to generate insights that guide strategic decision-making
Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings
Tackle diverse actuarial projects and play a key role in developing the company’s corporate actuarial capabilities
About You
Relevant actuarial designation
8+ years of actuarial experience, with hands-on involvement in IFRS 17 valuation work
Familiarity with regulatory capital frameworks
Strong background in actuarial science
Strong Excel skills; experience with valuation tools is an asset
