The ideal candidate will play an important role in managing the sourcing and production process. This position requires a strong understanding of sourcing strategies. The Purchasing Manager will work closely with the various departments to identify sourcing needs, negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships.Responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing process for production, ensuring delivery times and quality standards are met.
• Negotiate prices, terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels using the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities in the system for reporting purposes.
• Maintain close relationships with suppliers to facilitate communication and resolve any issues that may arise.Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Proven experience in a sourcing or procurement role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems for procurement activities.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate pricing structures.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
