About the Opportunity

• Coordinates all administrative functions related to the organization
• Schedules all in-person and/or virtual meetings, including the Corporation, Board of Trustees, Senate, and associated committees
• Provides executive support to the team as it relates to preparing meeting materials and agendas, meeting schedules, and meeting preparation
• Attends meetings and records, transcribes, and distributes minutes
• Ensures meeting materials are uploaded to the appropriate portals in advance of meetings for committee members
• Initial point of contact for Governance-related inquiries and correspondence
• Provides support to other groups

About You

• Previous experience taking minutes at senior-level meetings, ensuring accuracy, spelling, and grammar
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite and previous experience working with online meeting platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Superior interpersonal and effective communication experience, both verbal and written, with a diverse range of people
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, set and meet deadlines
• Flexible and adaptive to changing needs
• Must possess a high degree of maturity, patience, diplomacy, discretion, and sound judgment
• Self-motivated to take initiative and resolve problems
• Awareness of when to escalate more complex issues
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information
• Available for Governance meetings, which are scheduled late afternoon into early evening
• Available to work occasional evenings based on business need

Pay Range
$25 - $28/hour
