Day in the Life

The AZ Driver will have a strong work ethic and bring an energetic experience, in the operation of various pieces of construction equipment such as asphalt pavers, rollers, milling machines, pulverizes, etc., to safely load, secure, and unload this equipment and transport to its prescribed destinations and construction sites.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Company Safety policy and procedures
  • Report to various job sites as requested - work mainly in Grey & Bruce Counties, but potential aggregate deliveries in Southwest Ontario and the GTA
  • Deliver products to customers on a timely basis
  • Maintain a clean and mechanically sound truck
  • Complete CVOR related paperwork / Log Book, Circle Check, Etc.

Qualifications

  • Valid AZ License – gravel and asphalt experience an asset
  • Safely operate various types of heavy equipment an asset
  • Load and off-load heavy equipment an asset
  • Experience operating various types of equipment including Truck Pup, Live Bottoms, Hoppers, Tag Along, able to float equipment
  • Must have own transportation
  • Productive, punctual, and reliable
  • Able to work independently with little supervision
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, occasional Saturdays

Compensation Data

Targeting $32 - $34.75 per hour
