This position is based at the TC Transcontinental RBW Graphics plant in Owen Sound Ontario which has been in operation for over 171 years. With over 400 employees it is the largest commercial printing plant of magazines flyers catalogues and directories in Canada. Owen Sound is a smaller city filled with cultural outdoor and recreational activities.
Industrial Electrician
Status : Full-Time
Schedule : Rotating Continental
Reports To : Electrician Lead Hand
We are currently seeking a full-time Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team at our Owen Sound this role you will be responsible to provide support on all electrical equipment with the goal of maximizing production and minimizing downtime. This includes preventative maintenance breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting on-going problems to recommended and implement solutions on all electrical and electronic equipment.
Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success :
- Install test maintain troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring fixtures control devices and equipment.
- Working knowledge of relay logic PLC programming integrated circuitry and robotics
- Complete machine work orders
- Equipment modification and re-locations
- Machine electrical upgrades and changes
- Member of the Emergency Response Team
- Attend annual health and safety training including but not limited to WHMIS and Lockout / Tagout
- Perform related duties as required
