Adecco is currently hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a full-time opportunity within a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment in Cumberland, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and forklift operation who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining organized, efficient warehouse operations.

- Shift: Monday to Friday | 8 AM - 6 PM

Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and shipping documentation.
- Receive and inspect inbound shipments to verify accuracy and identify any damage.
- Process shipping and receiving paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing inventory is properly documented and tracked.
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient storage and accessibility.
- Perform regular inventory counts and support inventory audits.
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
- Assist with material movement throughout the facility.
General Warehouse Support
- Support production, quality, and other departments as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory control.
- Forklift certification is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
