Job description

Job description

As the Wales's only Communications Technician, you are responsible for transmitting information and responding to inquiries these facts may produce, including my producing press releases and managing the Wales's social media platforms and website in both English and French. You strategize and create persuasive content for marketing, admissions, and recruitment by writing annual reports, job postings, letters, memos, newsletters, policies and procedures, translating documents, and more. You campaign to raise money for the Wales Home Foundation by organizing fundraising events such as the Golf Tournament and writing engaging proposals for funding to private foundations. You create, communicate, deliver, and exchange marketing materials such as advertisements to attract potential residents, employees, family members, and volunteers.

Wanted profile

  • Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) in Arts, Literature, and Communication or any other educational background deemed equivalent
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French
  • Recognized fundraising course an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
