Job descriptionCompletion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). As required. Previous Long Term Care experience preferred. CCHSS training an asset. ROL training an asset.

Lacombe Continuing Care Facility is a 73-bed unit, including some Medically Complex Care beds, providing personal care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role involves implementing established care plans, offering emotional support, and ensuring the dignity of residents at all times. Please note : Resumes are not kept on file. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be part of an interprofessional healthcare team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Your practice will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skills, and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in delivering safe, quality, patient- and family-centered care, reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
