Job descriptionRequires estimate preparation experience of 5+ years. Requires experience associated with project estimate classification system. Requires experience in engineering and construction management concepts, methods and techniques. Requires experience in project design, construction, rehabilitation, and modification to appreciate the spectrum of work situations surrounding major projects and in particular to generating facilities. Requires an understanding of generating facility planning, engineering, construction and operating practices including costing and scheduling practices and the use of relevant software.

Job Overview
- Provide Cost estimating services to the business units
- This includes understanding the scope of work, preparing detailed cost estimates, providing advise, guidance and direction on a wide range of projects (Civil / Electriacl / Mechanical / l&C projects in a nuclear environment)
- Develop conceptual, preliminary and release-quality engineering and cost estimates.
- Develop project Basis of Estimate based on available information
- Develop project take-offs and equipment counts based upon the specification / drawings and include safety and security factors for nuclear projects.
