Opportunity

This role supports the Senior Program Delivery Manager and EPMO to ensure the Co‑operators meets OSFI E21 Guidelines by developing a plan, managing the roadmap, and ensuring appropriate change management during implementation. The role also focuses on updating project management practices, processes, guidelines, tools, and templates—including the PM Playbook—to ensure consistency across the enterprise.

How You Will Create Impact

  • Contribute to enhancing the Delivery Framework processes, procedures, and templates to ensure quality and governance across the enterprise.
  • Support the design of project‑portfolio practices and coach the Project Management community.
  • Work with the Senior Manager, Program Delivery Excellence to oversee project / portfolio / program practices and foster adoption of new processes with an enterprise‑wide lens.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of project practices, report on framework compliance, and conduct Spot Checks as required.
  • Identify opportunities for integration with other processes and participate in their integration.
  • Develop change tactics and communications to support adoption of new processes.
  • Assist in communicating changes to ensure understanding across stakeholders, delivery partners, ETO peers, and management.
  • Support partnerships within PMD ES and Technology PMOs to ensure practices are understood and followed.
  • Perform project‑management related duties to manage the delivery of the E‑21 project.

  • To Join Our Team

  • Strong project practice and delivery expertise in both agile and waterfall methodologies with at least five years of experience, e.g., Project Manager or PMO analyst.
  • Strong project management competencies and soft skills such as facilitation, conflict resolution, negotiations, executive communications, and problem‑identification and resolution.
  • Excellent communication, building strong relationships, and working with virtual teams across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of project risk and issue management.
  • Experience in process design and improvement.
  • Understanding of the impact of decisions on people, cost, and resource utilization.
  • Critical thinker with planning skills and accountability to execute.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office : PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, MS Project.
  • PMP, CAPM, PMI‑ACP, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Change Management practices (e.g., Prosci) is an asset.

  • Expected salary / hourly range : $72,847 - $121,411

    The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co‑operators at its discretion and will vary depending on local market conditions, geography, and relevant job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education.

    Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and / or business performance or other business metrics.
