Arrow Workforce is currently looking for a Yard Worker for our client in Varennes,QC, Canada

Location : Varennes,QC, Canada

Shift Timings : (Mon-Thurs) 7am-4 : 30pm (Friday) 7am-11 : 30am

Pay Rate : $22 per hour

Duties :

Assists in maintaining an organized, clean and logical yard and work area;

Take responsibility in the proper use, maintenance and safety of all tools and equipment;

Inspect and properly classify and records material damages from material received;

Make sure equipment is properly placed and returned to its designated storage location;

Inform supervisor of the status of consumables necessary to perform the job to ensure that you do not run out;

Must be comfortable working outdoor

Must have good communication skills

Heavy lifting up to 40-50 lbs.

Requirements :

Experience working with tools

1+ years previous experience of construction would be an asset.

Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks

Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.

Must have CSA approved 6” boots & Hi-vis vest

Responsabilités :

Maintenir une cour et une zone de travail organisées, propres et bien structurées.

Assurer l'utilisation, l'entretien et la sécurité appropriés de tous les outils et équipements.

Inspecter, classer et enregistrer correctement les dommages matériels lors de la réception des matériaux.

S'assurer que l'équipement est correctement placé et retourné à son emplacement de stockage désigné.

Informer le superviseur de l'état des consommables nécessaires pour éviter les ruptures de stock.

Travailler confortablement à l'extérieur dans différentes conditions météorologiques.

Capacité à soulever des charges lourdes (40-50 lbs).

Avoir de bonnes compétences en communication.

Exigences :

Expérience avec les outils de travail

1 an ou plus d'expérience dans la construction (un atout)

Capacité à effectuer des tâches physiques exigeantes et à soulever des charges lourdes

Capacité à lire, écrire et effectuer des calculs mathématiques de base
