Precision Record Pressing is a leading vinyl record pressing company with multiple locations in the Greater Toronto Area. We are currently looking for ERP System Support to join our Oakville team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will ensures successful implementation and maintenance of Precision’s bespoke ERP software system. We are looking for a positive, energetic person who is highly motivated and wants to work in a team environment!
Responsibilities
ERP User Support
- Provide first level user support for bespoke ERP system modules such as Sales, Purchasing, Invoicing, Shipping, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Warehousing.
- Use help desk software to troubleshoot and resolve user tickets and escalate as needed.
- Use project management software to address user tickets with development team.
- Ensure timely resolution of tickets.
- Ensure fast response times as outlined in a support SLA.
- Develop reports using help desk trends and user feedback to identify documentation gaps and improvement opportunities.
ERP User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support
- Execute functional testing for minor and incremental ERP system changes (e.g. validation rules, form behavior, workflow logic, UI adjustments) prior to deployment.
- Document test results clearly.
- Work with ERP Project Managers to identify outlier scenarios that arise from functional tests.
- Assist with testing and validation support for ongoing large ERP module deployments.
- Perform post-deployment functional testing to confirm new features are working as intended.
ERP Version Releases & Communication
- Support bi-weekly deployment communications to the user base.
- Translate system changes into clear, user-friendly summaries for the user base.
- Assist with release readiness by ensuring testing and documentation are aligned with developer-provided version changes.
- Support ERP Project Managers in development of additional documentation for new ERP modules.
- Participate in regular calls with Senior VP Sales and ERP Development Team
- Participate in educational sessions with ERP users designed to improve knowledge base and increase awareness of features.
ERP SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) Documentation
- Creation, organization, and ongoing maintenance of ERP Standard Operating Procedure documentation.
- Document standard workflows, system usage guidelines, and common issues with step-by-step clarity.
- Keep documentation current with bi-weekly releases and evolving operational practices.
- Participate in calls with ERP Development Team and Department Leaders to identify knowledge gaps that require additional documentation.
Physical Demands
- Sedentary, office-based role that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Position requires sitting at desk ¾ or more of day, walking short distances for less than ¼ of day.
- Substantially repetitive movements of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Required to have visual acuity to perform activities including but not limited to analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer screen, extensive reading.
- Requires travel between PRP sites (Burlington, Oakville, Toronto). Must have access to a personal vehicle or public transportation.
Requirements/Qualifications
- 2-4 years’ experience in a software support role
- Minimum 2 years of sales and project management experience, dealing with customers directly
- Basic experience and understanding of development and/or programming is a plus (example: SQL database queries)
- Educational background in computer information systems or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Business Suite
- Strong self-initiative and work ethic with a drive to achieve sustainable results
- Excellent team player
- Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly analytical thinker with very strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, efficiency, organization, and managing multiple projects while meeting departmental goals and deadlines
