Biomedical Equipment Services Employee (Onsite: Richmond Hill/Vaughan, ON)

Allow your passion for improving lives to shine in this role where you’ll be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites.

Your role:

• Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements, setting clear expectations, and meeting commitments and arrival times to address and resolve customer needs. Understand the customer's business and competitive environment; generate service revenue.
• Actively participate as a member of the regional work team; work to improve team processes and identify training gaps. Seek out opportunities to increase capability and capacity (i.e. may be required to become qualified in multiple modalities, learns new tools).
• Perform all administrative duties within established Philips, Provincial, and Federal regulatory requirements and timeframes including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders (FCO), preventative maintenance (PM), installation documents, site and service documentation, and other related paperwork. Adhere to established training, quality, and safety requirements.
• Utilize tools, support, resources, and escalation processes within required time frames to resolve customer and system problems timely and effectively. Complete PMs, FCOs, installation and all related tasks (diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems).

You're the right fit if:

• You’ve acquired 1+ years of experience installing, servicing, and/or maintaining medical equipment or 3+ years in another electromechanical industry. General biomed, pharmacy automation, patient monitoring, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, and infusion pump experience highly preferred. This is a multimodality and multivendor position. This position will also be cross trained in imaging systems.
• Your skills include the ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment.
• You have a college diploma in electronics or equivalent combination of education and above listed experience; Biomedical Engineering Technology diploma highly preferred.
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for position.
• You must be able to:Work in a hospital/healthcare environment; adhere to requirements.Work flexible hours (based on business needs to include overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations).Safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials; wear all required personal protective equipment.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Pay Transparency Details

The annual pay range for this position is $51,100 to $80,300, plus overtime eligibility.

This role also includes on-call pay, training, and advancement opportunities. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive plan, field service incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
