About the Opportunity

In conjunction with the Clinical Manager, the Clinical Leader is responsible for the overall day-to-day clinical service delivery. The Clinical Leader will provide administrative, organizational and leadership support to the Outpatient Mental Health & Addictions team, and also provide direct clinical client service in their professional role (ie. Clinical Therapist, Nursing, Occupational Therapist, and Psychologist).

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Counselling (With a Clinical Undergraduate Degree) or Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed with applicable body (NSCSW, NSCN, NSCCT,NSBEP or NSCOT)
  • Three (3) years' experience with Mental Health & Addictions intervention
  • Provides evidence-based therapeutic intervention to Mental Health & Addictions clients
  • Ensures all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities
  • Identifies areas for service improvement and facilitates and evaluates quality initiatives
  • Drafts Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials and others guidelines for care
  • Provides leadership to the team in the areas of client-centered decision making, customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly

Compensation and Benefits

$50.20 - $61.49 Hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
