Position Responsibilities:

  • Design and build intelligentcloudnativeapplicationsthat combine modern software engineering with emerging AI capabilities.
  • Develop APIs, microservices, and distributed systemsthat supportAI‑drivenfeatures, autonomous workflows, andreal‑timeinference.
  • Integrate advanced AI frameworkssuch as Microsoft Agent Framework, LangChain/LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, andAutogento build reasoning engines, orchestrators, and agent-based experiences.
  • Prototype, evaluate, and productionize AI features, fromretrieval‑augmentedpipelines tomulti‑agentcollaboration patterns.
  • Use AI engineering tooling(GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to improve development velocity, code quality, and experimentation.
  • Shape architectural patterns for AI systems, including prompt pipelines, vector storage, model orchestration, and scalable inference services.
  • Ensure all solutions meet the highest standards forsecurity, governance, resiliency, compliance, and responsible AI.
  • Contribute to DevOps maturity, includingCI/CD automation, environment consistency, and repeatable deployment patterns.
  • Collaborate with product, AI, cloud, and engineering teams to delivermodern, intelligent, high-impact user experiences.
  • Thrive in an environment where priorities shift quickly as we explore new capabilities and unlock new opportunities with AI.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of engineering experience, ideally building enterprise-grade or regulated systems.
  • Strong foundational skills inPython (preferred),Javascript/Typescript, Rust, Go or other modern programming languageswithdemonstratedbackend orfull‑stackproficiency.
  • Hands-on experience withCloudengineering(Azure preferred)including serverless, identity & access, compute, networking, and storage. Equivalent knowledge in AWS or GCP will certainly be considered.
  • Working knowledge ofKubernetes, microservices, and distributed system design.
  • ProficiencywithInfrastructure as Code (IaC), Observability as Code (OaC)andTerraform.
  • Experience withAI agent and orchestration frameworkssuch as (but not limited to) Microsoft Agent Framework, LangChain/LangGraph, Semantic Kernel,Autogen, etc.
  • Familiarity withLLM integration patterns, retrieval systems, embeddings, vector search, prompts, and evaluation tooling.
  • Comfort usingAIaccelerateddevelopment toolslike GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
  • Experience implementingCI/CD pipelineswith GitHub Actions.
  • Strongproblem‑solvingskills — especially when diagnosing complex, distributed, orAI‑dependentbehaviours.

Salary range is expected to be between

$129,400.00 CAD - $179,400.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
