Our Opportunity
We're looking for AZ Drivers to join our team in Cornwall, Ontario.
This post is for a current vacancy.
Looking at the Role
This role involve you being out during the week and home on weekends. You will deliver in both Quebec and Ontario to locations such as Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, Cornwall. Being out on the road for the week could have you going anywhere in Ontario if required.
Please note: This is not a dock-to-dock position. Physical work is required, including the use of trailer tailgates and electric walkies.
Core Requirements
- Committed service professional
- AZ license with at least three years’ verifiable driving experience.
- Must be at least 23 years of age due to commercial auto insurance requirements
- Eligible for coverage under the company’s commercial vehicle insurance policy
- Experienced with both automatic and standard transmissions.
- Clean CVOR and Abstract.
- Experience operating tailgates with lifts and electric walkies
- Ability to operate a Geotab handheld device
- Familiarity with Hours-of-Service regulations
- Physically capable of lifting and handling deliveries
- Must be able to drive DZ trucks as required by operations (You will still get your AZ rate)
Compensation
Rate of $25-30+ per hour commensurate with experience, plus delivery incentives where applicable and a competitive benefit package. Paid layovers for overnight stays if required.
