Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager – Water and Wastewater Treatment to be based in either our Waterloo or Toronto Area / Greater Toronto Area offices with diversified experience in business development, project capture planning, proposal writing, design, and construction contract administration of municipal projects including water and wastewater treatment plants and infrastructure.

Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position involves :

Supporting our Water Practice Business Development group to expand water infrastructure market share in Ontario, including client relationship development, project capture planning, and proposal preparation.
Leading the execution of projects with senior engineers and technical teams.
Managing projects with direct communication with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors.
Ensuring project deliverables meet or exceed quality objectives.

Responsibilities include :

Preparing complex documents and reports.

Managing stakeholder engagement activities.

Developing personal capabilities through training, certifications, and industry engagement.

Contributing to continuous improvements.

Scheduling and allocating work.

Conducting project assurance reviews.

Defining project scope and planning.

Reporting on project progress.

Managing project resources, risks, and issues.

Overseeing project closeout and handover.

Leading project teams and managing requirements.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.

10-15 years of relevant experience, especially in water and wastewater projects.

Proven business development and project management skills.

In-depth knowledge of water / wastewater treatment processes.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
