Job Description :

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant Controller Administrator to join our finance team. This role will support the Controller in overseeing financial operations, ensuring the seamless execution of day-to-day accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be an experienced accounting professional looking to expand their career in financial management within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Financial Reporting :
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable :
  • Oversee and process vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments are made.
  • Track and manage outstanding receivables, supporting collections efforts as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting Support :
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on actual performance compared to budgeted amounts, identifying and explaining variances.
  • Internal Controls :
  • Support the maintenance of strong internal controls to safeguard financial data.
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • General Accounting Support :
  • Ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for the annual financial audit.
  • Assist with bank and credit card account reconciliations.
  • Administrative Support :
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Controller, including scheduling, document management, and interdepartmental communications.
  • Manage accounting correspondence, handling inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal teams.
  • Assist in the maintenance of accounting software and systems to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Qualifications :

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate or administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
