Responsibilities

• Communicating (via phone / text / geotab) with drivers to advise their next pick-up and deliveries.
• Working closely with the drivers on any problems they may encounter
• Updating shipment status in the dispatch system
• Determining the best routes and order of pick-ups & deliveries.
• Working very closely with fellow dispatchers to co-ordinate the daily activities.
• Advising Customer Service Representatives of any issues so the CSR may communicate directly with clients.
• Verify order status
• Maintain the relationships with clientele
