As a designer, IT architecture, you actively monitor opportunities offered by new technologies for the organization as a whole.
You design components (software, data and infrastructure) to meet the business needs of projects based on architecture targets and supporting foundation.
You ensure consistency with the organization's current and future needs and structure, while also ensuring that new components are compatible with the existing components.
You lead and influence the design of the data, software and infrastructure architecture for large-scale, innovative projects and initiatives.
The ability to work with technology, anticipate innovation and optimize work processes is therefore essential. You advise clients and practitioners on integration and coordination matters, so the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate a thorough understanding of needs is key.
Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of work. You make recommendations regarding components and produce specialized deliverables as part of projects or initiatives that have a high degree of operational and conceptual complexity.
Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.
You serve as a specialist advisor in your field, and act as a contact and coach for decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to :
Help business partners identify and analyze needs, set priorities, and select and evaluate technology components.
Conduct studies and execute the positioning and design phases. Recommend technology.
Develop and apply conceptual and logical models and carry out design, implementation and integration strategies.
Coordinate the activities needed to ensure the quality, performance, reliability, availability and continuous improvement of technology solutions and systems.
