Site Superintendent - ICI
Job Description :
We are seeking an ICI Construction Site Superintendent tooversee and lead projects on site. This role calls for a leaderwith a passion for construction and the skill to manage complexprojects.
You will be the driving force behind safe timely andquality completion of mostly commercial and institutionalimprovements and interior fitouts.
Your technical knowhowmanagement experience and commitment to excellence will uphold thehigh standards our client is known for and ensure that each projectstands as a testament to their collective expertise and dedicationto construction excellence.
MustHaves :
- Bachelor'sdegree in a constructionrelated field or equivalentexperience.
- At least four years of experiencein a construction leadership role.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and industryspecific safetysoftware.
- Strong ability to read and interpretconstruction documents and technical drawings.
Nice to Haves :
- Prior experience with major constructionfirms.
- Expertise in advanced constructionscheduling and project cost control.
- A historyof managing diverse teams and fostering inclusive workenvironments.
- A track record of upholding andenforcing strict safety protocols.
- Strongnegotiation skills with contractors and stakeholders.
- Experience with financial aspects of constructionincluding budgeting and billing processes.
Responsibilities :
- Direct and coordinate the actions of subcontractors andtradespeople.
- Ensure all projects adhere toset safety schedule and quality standards as well as budgetconstraints.
- Mentor and oversee thedevelopment of junior staff including Assistant Superintendents andInterns.
- Strategically schedule tasks tomaintain project momentum and meet deadlines.
- Serve as the point of contact for all fieldrelated issuesresolving them effectively.
- Supervise thelogistical scheduling and quality control aspects of theconstruction process.
- Enforce comprehensivesite safety programs and ensure subcontractor compliance with allrelevant regulations.
- Manage the financialaspects of the construction work including monitoring of estimatespayroll and payments to subcontractors.
- Confirm that all construction is performed in accordancewith the project's contractual obligations.
