Our client is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.

This full-time, on-site role is based in Mississauga and requires a professional, friendly demeanor and sharp attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide detailed information about products and services, including product availability, pricing,

and delivery times.

  • Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently using an EDI system.
  • Facilitate customer access to the company portal for order tracking and account management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to address customer needs and ensure smooth order processing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and stay informed on industry trends.
  • Assist in managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, and selecting the best solution.
  • Follow up to ensure resolution and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support the logistics team with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.

Key Qualifications :

  • 5-10 years of proven experience in a customer service role within the food and beverage space.
  • Experience in Online, Foodservice, C&G, Mass and Drug Channels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual French and English is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pivot if needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software and EDI systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • A positive attitude and a team player mindset.
  • Knowledge of specialty foods and the gourmet food market is a plus.
  • Professional, friendly, and polished demeanor.
