Our client is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities :
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide detailed information about products and services, including product availability, pricing,
and delivery times.
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently using an EDI system.
- Facilitate customer access to the company portal for order tracking and account management.
- Collaborate with the sales team to address customer needs and ensure smooth order processing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and stay informed on industry trends.
- Assist in managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, and selecting the best solution.
- Follow up to ensure resolution and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support the logistics team with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
Key Qualifications :
- 5-10 years of proven experience in a customer service role within the food and beverage space.
- Experience in Online, Foodservice, C&G, Mass and Drug Channels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual French and English is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pivot if needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software and EDI systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- A positive attitude and a team player mindset.
- Knowledge of specialty foods and the gourmet food market is a plus.
