Business Development Representative - Logistics

Salary : $50, - $80, depending on experience

Location : Vaughan, ON

Our client, a prominent player in the logistics sector located in Richmond Hill, ON, is currently seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join their team.

If you're passionate about logistics and have a proven track record in sales, with experience in selling asset-based logistics solutions, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities :

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to identify potential opportunities for business expansion.

Requirements :

  • 2-5 years of experience in logistics sales, with a strong understanding of industry practices and trends.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in selling asset-based logistics solutions, including warehousing, courier, LTL (Less Than Truckload), FTL (Full Truckload), and other related services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience working with ZoomInfo a bonus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
