Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position : Accounts Receivable Specialist Location : Downtown Toronto Job Type : Temporary with a possibility of extension Quantum is seeking a dedicated and proficient Accounts Receivable Specialist for their Fintech client located Downtown.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of financial tasks including generating customer invoices, booking cash receipts, reconciling balance sheet and bank accounts, and play a key role in the month-end closing process and serve as a backup for the accounts payable function.

Key Responsibilities : - Generate customer invoices and book cash receipts promptly and accurately. - Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Assist with month-end closing processes, including preparing necessary documentation. - Serve as a backup for accounts payable tasks, processing invoices, and payments.
• Follow up with clients regarding outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections. - Contribute to internal and external audits, providing required documentation and information.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role. - High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
