Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

1. Invoice Generation : Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.

2. Payment Processing : Record and apply payments received from customers, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation.

3. Collections : Follow up with customers on past-due accounts via phone, email, or mail to expedite payment and resolve any outstanding issues.

4. Credit Management : Review and assess credit terms for new and existing customers, establishing appropriate credit limits and terms.

5. Reconciliation : Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

6. Aging Analysis : Monitor accounts receivable aging report, identifying overdue accounts and taking appropriate actions for collection.

7. Customer Communication : Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and disputes related to billing and payments.

8. Reporting : Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports and metrics for management review, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related

field preferred.

1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
