Job Summary :
The Social Media, PR and Influencer Manager at LUS Brands will lead all brand social media marketing strategies and activations while being respectful of budgets.
The successful candidate will oversee all boosting, engagement, planning and executing of influencer partnerships, daily content, social community strategy.
They’ll strategically identify social media marketing activations and gifting opportunities to elevate brand awareness, launch social campaigns, enrich influencer partnerships, and drive sales across lusbrands.
com. Ultimately, the Social Media, PR and Influencer Manager will promote and maintain a positive image of our organization while ensuring strong community brand presence on relevant social platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategy & Planning
Strategize and execute all aspects of Social, including planning and development of calendar, content and community and management of traditional social (IG, FB, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
and expansion into new (e.g. Spotify, Twitch, Clubhouse, podcasts, etc).
- Develop social channel strategy plans to drive engaged growth in our current channels and expand into new ones, build a community of brand advocates that helps build our brand through conversation, sharing and a genuine love of our story on social.
- Develop a social content calendar and strategy that drives channel growth and community engagement.
- Use social media platforms, audience insights, and analytical tools to create awareness and promote brand objectives, campaign launches, and sales through social shopping and affiliate marketing strategies.
- Manage the day-to-day of content delivery. Engage with clients, influencers, creators, community, and other brand marketing leaders in creative, communication and ecommerce to lead content strategy and create editorial calendars in creating photos, videos and written content.
- Mentor and manage junior team members, managing ongoing projects / campaigns, production of assets, and maintaining a regular posting cadence
- Work with the VP, Marketing to build a strategy that showcases the brand persona, and connect the brand story to the right customers.
- Proactively and reactively develop creative direction for founder, influencer and creator partners.
- Keep abreast of social media trends, respond to changes relevant to LUS Brand’s marketing strategies using social media platforms, audience insights and analytical tools
- Keep LUS Brands top of mind in the industry, secure accreditations that build brand equity
Production & Execution
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of paid media, in the context of social, search and native while working directly with our paid media team to ensure alignment across channels.
- Partner with our influencer team and affiliate partners to generate click-worthy, shareable content that fuels channel growth
- Assist in the development of content briefs for commissioned content and influencer campaigns
- Coordinate and plan photo / video creation to the meet the needs of upcoming campaigns, brand events, and social calendar
- Work with internal and external resources to produce branded content for all channels
Performance & Measurement
- Analyze engagement data by setting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as a target number of community views, follower growth, sales, likes or shares for social media campaigns.
- Provide insights and counsel to social, creative, marketing teams on insight driven content strategies for building brand awareness and sales, championing creative work that will work across all channels and best practices in content strategy, (video, social, website), community management, social engagement, and SEO
- Provide regular on-going performance reporting and analysis for social platforms, and content analysis including competitive analysis and industry / competitor benchmarking.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing
- Platform & Tools Experience : Dash Hudson, Google Analytics, Tribe Dynamics, Canva
- Experience with tech tools such as MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud and similar
- Proven ability to create and analyze smart and engaging content
- Experience developing an editorial calendar across social platforms is required
- Ability to design marketing strategies with goals that are short-term as well as long-term
- Proven ability to ensure a diverse web presence by sharing content through a multiplicity of channels
- Great content creation skills and experience in the distribution of content
- A passion for learning about and engaging your audience
- Expert understanding of social media platforms, content, and trends.
- Confidence in leading Social Shopping platforms
- Excellent communication, copywriting and editing skills
- Digitally savvy : uses digital and social media, knowledge of beauty industry
- Self-starter, able to work in a start-up, capable of taking initiative to identify & resolve problems
- Proven ability to work & collaborate with cross-functional team
- Strong time management skills, deadline-oriented, and results-driven, thrives in a high-pressure environment
