Role : Intermediate / Senior Environmental Field Coordinator - Woodfibre LNG
POSITION SUMMARY
Roe Environmental is seeking an experienced professional to support environmental field program coordination and environmental management planning for construction of a marine terminal facility near Squamish, BC (Woodfibre LNG).
POSITION LEVEL / REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Intermediate Level : 3-6 years relevant consulting / construction environmental coordinator experience
Senior Level : 5-10 years relevant consulting / construction environmental coordinator experience
POSITION TERM
Full time employment contract commencing in the near term (2 4 weeks)
POSITION LOCATION
Shift work on the Woodfibre LNG project in Squamish, BC.
Candidates from outside of the Squamish / Vancouver area can expect to be stationed in floatel (cruise ship).
PREFERRED CAPABILTIES
- Experience with environmental management planning and delivery for large scale infrastructure construction
- Experience delivering environmental management systems collaboratively in large, multi-disciplinary construction teams
- Water quality monitoring and sampling experience
- Strong interpersonal skills suited to client / contractor communications via email, virtual meetings and in-person encounters
- Strong technical writing and formatting abilities
- Suitable academic background and / or experience with applied science biology work or other related field work
- Ability to respond to environmental incidents and issues on a call-out basis
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to pass project-specific pre-entry drug and alcohol screening test
COMPENSATION RANGE
Intermediate level : $35.00 / hour - $40.00 / hour
Senior level : $40.00 / hour - $50.00 / hour
