Seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in building and optimizing data pipelines on Microsoft Azure, with expertise in Azure Data Fabric and other Azure data services.
This role will focus on transforming raw data into valuable insights, enabling efficient decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, specifically using Azure Data Fabric.
- Develop and optimize data architectures to support various applications and analytics.
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security are consistently applied.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues as they arise.
- Create and maintain documentation for data architecture and engineering processes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Fabric.
- Proficiency with Azure data tools (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL development.
- Knowledge of data governance, data security best practices, and performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Scala.
- Certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer Associate) are a plus.
