Weare currently looking for :

Buyer

Under the supervision of the Director Supply Chain,and working closely with the production team, the buyer is responsible forcoordinating procurement activities related to production needs.

He or she provides operations support and isrequired to work daily with the engineering team.Furthermore, the buyer is responsible for theinventory management of electronic components, material and inventorytracking.

He or she performs variousplanning and qualification functions for sources of supply.The buyer is being responsible fornegotiating agreements on purchase of computer equipment and licenses.

He orshe is always able to provide the organization with top-quality components thatrespect cost and delivery deadlines.

ResponsibilitiesSummary :

• Queries, issues and tracks PO
• Maintain and optimize the MRP provisioningsystem settings in MISys.
• Controls the inventory level of materials andproduction supplies
• Performs the relaunch with suppliers and ensurethe delivery dates update
• Participates in the negotiation and complianceof annual agreements with suppliers
• Assists planning, quality, engineering,payables and other teams to solve their vendors issues
• Seek opportunities for cost reduction andinventory control
• Participates in various projects aimed at improvingprocesses relating to the supply chain.
• Make all purchase (or rental) for computerelectronic equipment, software licenses, hardware, furniture and officesupplies (phones), etc.

Requirementsand qualifications :

• DEC in administration, logistics, supply chainmanagement and / or a combination of equivalent training and experience
• 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in purchasing electronic componentsand equipment
• Demonstrated expertise in ERP
• Work rigorously and demonstrate strong teamworkskills
• Able to interact easily with employees of alldepartments
• Versatile, autonomous, with good judgement,rigor, organized and detailed oriented
• Leadership and strong ability to manage priorities
• Bilingual in French and English, both spokenand written to communicate easily with our suppliers
• Experience in a high-tech, telecommunicationscompany (an asset)
• Mastering the computerized management systemprinciples and knowledge of MISys (an asset)
