We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Millwright based in our Milton location to join the Operational Maintenance team.

This position offers a continental rotating shift schedule. 12 hour shifts rotate from day to night weekly .

You must be able and willing to work both day and night shifts.

12 hour shifts are (days and nights) 8 : 00 8 : 00

Your future team :

You will become part of the Operational Maintenance team reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

What you will be doing :

Provide essential mechanical and technical support to the production line, optimizing production efficiency and product quality.

Conduct repairs, replacements, preventive, and predictive maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Repair and replace components of machinery, ensuring smooth operations.

Utilize exceptional troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment, safety protocols, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Read, interpret, and adhere to drawings, blueprints, schematics, and safety considerations.

Work with various bearings and systems, performing troubleshooting and new installations.

What You will bring :

Hold a valid Ontario Millwright Licence 433A.

Minimum of Grade 12 education with post-secondary education in a mechanical or technical field.

Possess a minimum of 5 years of valid heavy industrial experience and / or completed an Apprenticeship program in Canada.

A college degree will be an asset.

Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings and safety protocols.

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, making informed decisions to ensure safe operations.

Willingness and availability for overtime work on short notice.

Collaborative team player, working closely with other trades and contractors when necessary.

Own a set of quality tools capable of performing routine tasks.
