Informatica Integration Developer

Our client is a global food-based infrastructure company publicly traded in Canada. With over 4,200 employees and over 30 global manufacturing brands, client is a leading provider of equipment and technology solutions for agricultural commodities including seed, fertilizer, grain and feed systems and an expanding platform for food processing facilities.

The Opportunity

The Integration Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining software integrations across various platforms.

The ideal applicant will be passionate about designing quality solutions in a collaborative environment. The role will involve working with the latest integration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, deploy, and support new and existing API solutions
• Develop SOAP & REST API-based integrations for cloud and on-premises applications
• Design, develop, test, and document custom data integration solutions
• Participate in requirements, design, and development reviews
• Work with Analysts and Business Users to convert business requirements and specifications into technical designs
• Under the direction of the Integration Lead, understand and follow best practices when developing integration processes
• Identify opportunities for improved data quality and cleanliness
• Maintain the availability and reliability of the integration system / solutions
• Identify, debug, and advise on system errors
• Work on agile project and operational software teams to deliver solutions that enables important business outcomes

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent mix of training and experience
• 3+ years of work experience as an Integration Developer
• Experience with Informatica is preferred, but experience with a similar platform would also be considered an asset
• Knowledge of API security design (Auth 2.0, JWT, service accounts) considered an asset
• Knowledge of database design and SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Logic Apps and API Management considered an asset
• Experience with source control tools such as Azure DevOps considered an asset
• Experience with Master Data Management and Data Quality tools considered an asset
• Experience with testing tools such as Postman considered an asset
• Experience working in an Agile environment using tools such as Jira are considered an asset
• Experience in SharePoint, Salesforce, or Power Platform considered an asset
• Experience with C# and .NET considered an asset
