Position : Social Media Strategist & Community Manager
Role Overview
As a Social Media Strategist & Community Manager , you will be responsible for two core functions :
- Strategy & Analytics (Social Media Strategist) : Crafting and executing data-driven social media strategies to drive growth, optimize performance, and enhance our brand presence.
- Engagement & Growth (Community Manager) : Building relationships, fostering engagement, and growing our community across platforms while managing influencer partnerships and outreach initiatives.
You will report directly to the Director of Growth and collaborate closely with our marketing, creative, and outreach teams.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategist (Strategy & Analytics)
- Develop and implement data-driven social media strategies across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms to achieve growth, engagement, and revenue goals.
- Perform social listening analysis to identify trends, monitor brand sentiment, and inform content strategies.
- Use data and cultural insights to produce innovative content ideas and write strategic briefs for campaigns.
- Create social media playbooks , including platform-specific content strategies and performance benchmarks.
- Lead weekly reporting of social media performance, focusing on metrics such as :
- Traffic from social channels to e-commerce
- Social SEO rankings on keywords
- Audience growth
- Engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, CTR, watch time).
- Stay updated on platform algorithms, tools, and trends to inform strategies and optimize content performance.
- Conduct competitor analysis and make recommendations for future tests and strategies.
Community Manager (Engagement & Partnerships)
- Craft compelling posts, discussions, and replies that reflect the client's voice and foster meaningful engagement.
- Schedule posts using social media management tools and ensure optimal posting cadence.
- Moderate and engage with audiences across platforms like X (Twitter), Telegram, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
- Manage and execute Connectors Program (influencers and ambassadors) :
- Source and nurture relationships with micro, macro, and celebrity influencers.
- Project-manage campaigns, ensuring seamless execution of gifting, payments, and deliverables.
- Track and report on program performance, optimizing strategies to meet KPIs.
- Collaborate with the Growth team to amplify influencer content across paid and lifecycle channels.
- Explore opportunities for brand partnerships and collaborations with aligned audiences.
- Identify and implement innovative strategies for community outreach and lead generation via social channels.
KPIs You Will Own
- Social audience growth and content performance metrics.
- Traffic and conversions from social channels to e-commerce.
- Revenue generated through influencer partnerships and affiliates.
- Growth of the Connectors Program (influencer network size, engagement, and ROI).
- Community engagement metrics (platform-specific KPIs).
- New partnerships and collaborations initiated through social outreach.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in a hybrid role involving social media strategy, community management, or related fields.
- Deep understanding of social media analytics and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout, Brandwatch).
- Proven experience with social listening and crafting data-driven strategies.
- Strong track record in managing influencer / affiliate programs and partnerships.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to craft engaging content.
- Creative thinker with the ability to use data and insights to inform content.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube analytics and advertising platforms.
- Experience in programmatic approaches to social strategy.
- Prior success managing social outreach campaigns for mission-driven brands.
- A passion for building authentic connections with communities online.
