We have an exciting opportunity for a new team member to fill the position of Folding Boom Crane Operator / Rigge r at Pacific Industrial Movers.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Operate folding boom crane to lift, move, or place construction equipment and materials
• Follow safe work procedures to assist with lifting, lowering, or moving materials and loads
• Load / unload trailers, tie-down loads, tarp load and rigging
• Inspect rigging equipment, and inspect folding boom crane and calculate capacities
• Work alongside rigging crew to offload and place equipment using various specialized tools and equipment
• Ensure proper documentation maintained
• Daily inspections of folding boom crane and rigging gear
• Always maintain good working relations with customers through cooperative attitude
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements

Qualification :

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Willing to obtain tickets / certifications
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn and work within a team environment
• Valid Level A Folding Boom 22 tonne and under operator ticket is required
• Valid Class 3 BC driver’s license is required
• Clean and recent driving abstract is essential
• Hiab ticket, forklift ticket, and oversize load experience an asset
• Valid Level A Mobile Hydraulic 20 tonne and under operator ticket an asset
• Valid unlimited knuckle boom ticket is an asset
• Valid Class 1 BC driver’s license is an asset
• Rigging experience is preferred, but not required
• Able to lift heavy items
• Honest, reliable, punctual, positive attitude and flexible availability including work out of town is required
• This position will be reporting to onsite

The expected wage range for this position is $30 - $33 per hour (wage subject to negotiation based on candidate’s experience)
