Title : Electrical Engineer withLabVIEW

Location : HoustonTX (Onsite)

Roles andResponsibilities :

The candidate will be responsiblefor Design Development Implementation and Support of RealTime basedLabVIEW application systems to meet business informational andtechnical needs.

• Experience withLabVIEW versions 2018 and above.
• Strongworking experience with different protocols (TCP / IP Network streamsEthernet etc.)
• Experience implementingsolutions using the National Instruments (NI) CompactRIO andFPGA.
• Experience with employing PID feedbackcontrols.

Required Skills :

37 years working withLabVIEW programing (2018 or higher) with Physics or EngineeringBackground.

Strong experience in developing Real Time applicationswith interface to different industrial protocols (TCP / IP Networkstreams Ethernet etc.).

Familiarity with setting up data acquisitionsystems (OPC / UA Modbus cRIO Ethernet etc.).

Familiarity with the cRIO 906Xand cRIO 903X models (Linux backbone).

Experience with NI NetworkStreams.

Experiencewith implementing and tuning feedback control systems(PID)

Familiarity with using NIXNET drivers to readand write CAN frames / signals such as with SAE J1939protocol.

Experience with working on Large sized LabVIEWProjects.

Hands on experience in acquiring data fromsensors and others measurement devices.

Hands on experience specing outdifferent I / O modules from the NI product range.

Experience with real timecommunication and messaging protocols.

Familiarity with TFS 2012 source codecontrol.

Familiaritywith JKI VI Package Manager.

Familiarity with using laboratory equipment such asoscilloscopes multimeters signal generators etc.

Good written and verbalcommunication skills.

Experience with delivering presentations to bothtechnical and nontechnical audiences.

Dev Ops experience.

Proficient troubleshooting skills (software& basic electrical).

Proficient documentation skills.

Travel requirement : 15 20% oftime.

Familiaritywith C# Python MATLAB and other languages useful but notrequired.
