PLCProgramming Rockwell AllenBradley experience is required
HMI Programing Wonderware and AllenBradley software
Industrial communications protocols (Modbus EthernetIP OPCDA OPCUAProfibus etc.) and experience in configuring communicationsinterface modules
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES &REQUIREMENTS :
Review client specifications anddesign Electrical / PLC based controls solution including componentselections wiring diagrams communication interfaces enclosuregeneral arrangement drawings etc.
Provide Design teamwith the necessary information and support to generate the drawingspackage.
Develop software applications for PLC / HMI.
Create projectrelated documents including Functionaldesign specifications controls narrative test procedures interfacesdocuments user manuals and commissioning and startup procedures.
System commissioning troubleshooting and startup atclient locations : onshore and offshore.
Ability tocollaborate and effectively communicate with the project team(Project Manager Engineers Technicians etc.) clients and suppliers.
Education AndExperience :
- BachelorsDegree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering ComputerScience or equivalent (ABET Accredited)
- 5years of related experience preferred within the Oil & Gasmanufacturing industry
Desired Skills &Abilities :
- Excellentanalytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellentelectrical and technical skills to understand specifications andgenerate control system block diagram power distribution wiringdiagram instruments wiring to IOs communications network topologyand control panel general arrangement.
- PLCProgramming Rockwell AllenBradley experience is required and anyother controllers is a plus
- HMI ProgramingWonderware and AllenBradley software
- Familiarity with industrial communications protocols(Modbus EthernetIP OPCDA OPCUA Profibus etc.) and experience inconfiguring communications interface modules.
- Knowledge of hazardous area design requirements to NECIEC ATEX. Formal training and certifications to these standards isa plus.
- Strong knowledge of electrical powerdistribution and interfaces with motor starters and VFDs
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent organizational skills and attention todetail
- Knowledgeable in industry relevantstandards (NEC IEC ATEX etc.)
- Selfsufficientin work ethic ability to work independently with little to nosupervision
- Familiar with offshore and subseaoperations
